HONGKONG: SHIPBUILDING.
Hongkong: The launching of a large cargo steamer, the first to be built in Hongkong since the Japanese occupation, took place on the anniversary of the Pacific War. A second ship of similar size will be launched in the middle of December at another dockyard and many smaller vessels under construction are nearing completion. (Domei, 8 December, 1942.)
